Mum has been at Cherry Tree for just over three years. She always seems happy and relaxed when we visit. Louise and the staff are always happy to help and look after mum with great care and love.

Since mum moved into Cherry Tree she has improved in her health and wellbeing considerably. She had come to a stage of not being able to look after herself but not accepting this to be the case. The carers have given her back her dignity. She is well cared for, loves the food and the company. All staff are friendly and professional, and any medical issues have been dealt with swiftly. Staff make sure all residents are given exceptional and personal care. I’m happy that she is well treated and cared for.

The staff are a lovely mix of quiet types and lively outgoing people, which overall produces a balanced care system. Any request is dealt with in a caring, pleasant way, leaving both parties happy with the outcome. The building is always perfectly clean in every way. The daily exercises are a bonus and lift the residents, as do the visits of Josie playing the organ.

The staff are friendly people that take care of us and are friends to us also. We can talk to them and confide in them. I like the things that we make – it’s nice to see it when it’s finished and it’s worth the work to get it right. I enjoyed making the cup stand because when it was finished it looked so professional. We like to play music, and if you want someone from church you can – it’s really nice.

Very good place. Staff will do anything for you. I like the meals and I have a nice comfortable bed and warm bedroom. I enjoy the music that plays. It’s nice to see my visitors. I enjoy making easy things with help from the staff. It’s nice to watch everyone working. And it’s especially nice to have people to talk to, compared to being at home on your own.

It’s a very good place. The staff are all good and my bedroom is lovely. I liked making the Easter bonnets for the party and I enjoy reading and watching TV. I made a stocking at Christmas and I enjoyed that very much. I like doing all of the exercises, and the meals are lovely.
